~ day 2 in kuching ( 11th of jan twenty o six)
......as usual i was the 1st to wake up....at 7.30....then i got ready n waited waited for ren n zmeng .....the plan was to go breakfast around 9.30....but due to zmengs fault..we only left at 10 liddat...hehehehe...then we went "siang siang food court"....where we( zmeng n i) ate kolo mee..fampus sarawak food...n aaron ate kueh chap...sumthin like bak kut teh.... fyi there 2 version of kolo mee: 1st..original flavour( salty salty) i like.....and 2nd the reddish version using oil...(a bit sweet sauce) zmeng like....
after breakfast we visited aaron former school: THE LODGE SENIOR SCHOOL.....sounds so cun rite......it is quite gud.,..but aint so big like sri kl.....but their hall is very big. tho...
the next plan was lunch wit the gang at 1.00p.m...so after a short rest at home...we went la....to wangshangwan shop....there we met ly, deb, liejo, barney, n their lodgian frend gabriel.....we ate a lot there......one specialty...was this dish called sam sumthin...( i still din get d name) its a pork dish all say cant get in kl.....
after lunch we wanted to go across the river to ....the fort all...so we went to waterfront...there we sat in this cute sampan..where i bang my forehead twice while getting in...( wad to do ..tall wat).....then we went to astana then cudnt go straight to the fort so mus take one more sampan......we hiked up to fort magherita..where we went up the fort n took lotsa pics overviewing cat city.....
later we had slight prob getting a sampan back so ..we had to shout shout..n wave wave...ahahahahaahah
a while later we visited the warrior memorial.....very historical!!!!!!
at nite we went for dinner to the junk shop..an authentuc restaurant...
its setting..deco..n dimmed lightnig were soo authentic...we decidd to try the fishermans basket..ok so we ordered 3..n the waiter was like..u sure??? its really big....wooho so ok tze n i shared one..while aaron ordered fish n chips...a while later the food came..omg omg ..the size of plate itself was shocking..apatah lagi the portion of the food.....no wonder its called the xl meal... after tryin very hard to finish the food...we went jalan jalan....thats went we went visiting all the hotels in town....we checked out the toilets as well..dunoo tzemengla...
next at 10.45 we planned to watch a movie..so we went to the star cineplex the only theather in kch...n we saw the movie "3rd generation"...starring nicholas teo ( aaron ex-neighbour's cousin) , carmen soo( the typical preety ipoh gal) and amber chia( the sabahan born who bcame guess model)....the movie was crappy..if not mistaken 10 ppl pnly acted( whose face were shown)...then lotsa closeup on shoes. instead of face ...and every scene has sumthin wit the number 3 ....ok ok i know its malaysian movie n i shudnt b crtizing..ok la its a uniquee effort..n showcased lotsa batik.........then we went home n dozed off...aaron n i were kacauing zmeng din wanna let him sleep coz we knew he wud wake up late...n miss his chance of meeting ...amber chia , oh ya 4 got to mention amber was comin over to kch.for the premier of her movie..so he wanted to meet her at the airpot at 10a.m......wait for day 3 coverage to find out wat happen....ahahahaha ok
