IMU got talent!!!

hey guys, i m not even gonna waste my time apologizing for the long break of blogging, i m sure by now u are fed up of my excuses...so lets jus go straight to IMU got talent.

yes once again we m106 / c208 proved we got more than poor academic result, we got too much time too...hehehe kidding kidding...

actually i m lucky i m part of this hip n happening batch...even in our midst of exam preparation we are ever ready to put a good show for the crowd.

the show was fully planned by mei ann, and 98% performers were c208 and 60% audience were ....yes u guessed it right ..c208..

eventhough the program lacked planning, mei ann pulled it off. Dato was really pleased with out talent k.

on the other hand, i also have have have to mention, chengling n i claimed that the music night was shud be renamed "lingwei's music tour" muahahaha coz she was in 4 out 6 performances. we all seemed like the crew of the concert...hahaa ok she gonna kill me for this comment.

but the highlight of the day ( me sounding grandiose) was our group performance. we din even have a name for the group, that was how last minute we prepared for it. but since we decided to perform we din wanna pull out...so it was either shine as stars or go for plastic surgery the nest day..hehehe

we sang a medley, choir/acapella/ group performance style. 3 songs; Jason mraz- i'm yours, Rihanna's disturbia and katy perry's hot n cold.

the crowd was very surprised and receptive...they cheered especially with my stupid dramatic choreography.

but overall it turned out ok...( me still in denial phase)

TALENTIME

It's always hard to aptly place Yasmin Ahmad's movies into a specific genre but it's no lie to say that hers are all little slices of life's pie where you can sit down and get a whiff of its delicious scent before taking a bite into something fulfilling. It was her vision to capture the essence of humanity in her films and the images in "Talentime" simply reverberate that sentiment. I would not go so far as to say they reflect a reality that we all know and recognise but Yasmin Ahmad's films have always been a sentimental look into human emotion; matters of the heart and most importantly - the concept of love.

"Talentime" does not disappoint in that sense.

The characters of 'Talentime' are the kind of characters that you would not disassociate from real life people in Malaysia, a rich blending of all that makes our country unique. What makes this film work so well is that not once does it feel as though it is rubbing an idea into your face. Yasmin's handling of racial and religious issues is seen by some as controversial but this writer views it as a most refreshing and sensitive take on the subject. She makes no conclusions of her own in the film, merely letting the presence of the subject linger within the story but allowing the audience to come to their own decision. ( taken from a movie critic)

Watching this movie was totally an unexpected thing. i heard bout it on radio and tv and suddenly decided to watch. it was my second movie post exam. Aaron whom finished his on call decided to join me for the 1045pm show at tGV seremban 2. Even the cashier at TGV was like " dunno why ppl not watchin this movie, its a good story" he was super glad we were buying tickets for it. like we expected there were only a handful of ppl in the cinema. i guess us malaysians still streotype malaysian films. i m sure u have met ppl whom go " aiyah who wants to watch a malaysian film" ok i confess i was one of them until i watched Sepet by Yasmin. and since then i loved all her film. so i had high expectation for talentime and the movie exceeded my expaectations.

i think yasmin ahmad outdid herself.

This is pure malaysian film with dialogues in BM, cantonese, tamil and mostly english.

From the plot, to the wide versatile actors, the script, whoa the english, till the oh my god i must get the OST songs....it was awesome.

some of the famous acotrs in the movie include, harith iskandar, azean irdawaty( top actress), jacyln victor ( malaysian idol whose tamil was so fluent ) pamela chong ( vince AF's sister and amazing race asia 2 ) ida nerina ( top actress and amazing race asia 3 ) mahesh kishor, karhoe, syafi ( new guys) , elza irdalyna ( azean's daughter, rising star, proud to say my ex primary skool mate) tan mei ling, and of course adibah noor ( top singer, actress in loads of adverts).

this is a must watch !!!!!

I "KNOW" FOOL

ok as random as the post title sounds, this is post is even much more random. As most of u know, i have started sem 7... this august it will be my Professional Exam part 1 ( the drama name for the EOS 7) As drama as the name sounds, the workload is even more drama then any drama i ever expereinced.so pls don be dissapointed if u don c regular post from me k...i still sayang u all but if u can study for me then i write more post for u all k...hehehe
ok enuf drama, so back to my post. so last tuesday, i had my Psychiatric end of posting clinical exams. din expect i would like psychiatric coz i was always very scared in all these issues. well after the five week, at least i overcame some of the fears. its really pity to see these patients coz everyone thinks they are mad and label them as mad ppl, but in the real, they are ppl with problems jus like us, but it has effected them till they turn out this way.. but mus say 5 weeks in psych unit was fun...the wonderfull bizzare stories from all patients, all the lecturer's fun clinic. my groups never ending maddness and not mention the schizophrenia song courtesy of jenlye.hehe.

ok so as a post exam celeb, me, dej, ren n chitra wen to watch a movie. ( lingwei rushed back to kl to b with her bf cody who is leaving to japan to further studies, and davidlee couldn;t join coz his exam was later). so after the candlelight dinner at kensington ( due to power cut) we headed to MBO ( the very secluded but big theather in seremban) all set and we jus made it in time to catch the "sci fi" movie Knowing. at least thats wat we told dejun ( who clearly said he would not watch scary movies) ....to all our horror at the begining itself there was a girl starring at screen looking psychotic and having auditory hallucination. aRRGHHH sorry dejun...we din know the movie got unsur unsur seram!!!! moreover it was another of the "end of the world" themed movie. but mus giv it more credits than the pure indulgent rubbish movie called " hari dunia tidak bergerak"
the funniest thing was Knowing had so so so many psyciatry theme,...seriously every scene u can diagonse that character with a psy diagnosis....so i suggest to all those who finished psych posting to go c....muhahahha.

ok then part 2 of my stories begins, it was already bout 11.50pm on 31st march. just that evening we were talking bout ppl whom make prank calls. i was apparently labelled goody two shoes for never pranking ppl before. and the experts aaron n chitra claims they have like major experience. so i tot lets give it a try.
so i typed some really ridiculous stuff " hey ppl, have u guys seen, theres like a unique shaped star in the sky, every1 is checking out and i cant seem to see, my view is bad.." ok even i tot it was a super lame thing. so i sent it to aaron n chitra thinking that they will neva fall for it. like i expected, chitra msges back n said haha nice try. then moments later i m getting reply from ren " is it a sattelite ah" ..that jus got me laughing loud, so i replied " dunno la..i cant see ...if u c tell me" ....so apparently he went out of house..n starred at sky...not to mention dragged his housemate chengling out too n they were starring into space for 5 plus minutes. finally he msgs " kajen, all we c is a star, think its satelitte" then i cannot tahan d....so i had to end it...,msged him back " happy april's fool...finally i kenakan some1!!!!"
the story is still being repeated and retold to our friends...for more drama c aarons blog....

AR Rahman started off with directing the music with tamil movies, then went to bollywood and conquered the music industry there. and now he has proven himself again by winnnig the oscars.
Jai ho song is so stimulating and inspiring.

Leaving on a jet plane

no not me, but once again it was tough saying goodbyes to a bunch of very close friends. all of them are pursuing their phase 2 medical in aussie n newzee. i know that it is definately not the end of our friendship or anythin close to that, but its jus that there is a sudden reality check when i realise that they are not going to be closeby like they used to be. no spontaneous meet ups, no sudden trips, no wacky parties and etc. if u realise i had a previous post few months back on a few other friends leaving....mus say that i m very glad that i m still in contact with them. so i presume it will be the same for these bunch whom are leaving and left.

yee yoon - ur friendly neighbourhood bee hoon!!!! known her from SAM i think the very 1st day... She too smart so there is no prob for her jus that UNSW better be ready!!! hehe.

Boris - yup he is looking sad here, coz he had to leave b4 yy, but they can always meet up in oz..

Flashback series - episode 8

The adopted family

It was my first ever visit to batu pahat. i think i have passed it many times but never stopped n stayed there. Why was i there? well because de jun n i had the false notion that every clinical school student has to participate in the kg. angkat project. ( adopted village prog). actually if u remember, i did organise n participate in the IMU bukit jalil version of the programme. but that one was really a kg. orang asli. This time it was quite fun coz we got to particiapte along with our super seniors in sem 10 whom are residing at batu pahat campus. we never really got to know them before coz when we were sem 1 they were sem 5. mus say they are a good bunch of ppl. ok coming back to my original story...why did i say de jun n i had the false notion...well it false...it was no rule that every has to do it...so we kinda got terperangkap...coz they timing was not so right as exams were closeby....but who knew it would have turned out to be a great experience.

The bunch of us that went, were divided into pairs. the 1st night we stayed in our seniors place in BP and the second day onwards we stayed at the Kampung Simpang Enam....one long road streches along few villages surrounded by lush green palm tree farms..n pineapple farms.

the village people were not like i expected, they are really very well educated and well to do..most of the new generations are residing in towns but they all come back during holidays weekends to spend time with their folks. the kg ppl are really friendly and fun. they had so many activites. in return we had done a health screening and gotong royong activity for them.

Flashback series - episode 5

its finally 2009!!!!

ok i know, i m probabaly the last person on blogosphere blogging bout new year soo late, but what the heck who cares. its still new year to me.
all these years, new year's eve i would be sitting home, watching tv and waiting to usher new year then from my place watch the firworks....been waiting for a change....n this year i got that change....or did i?....
i spent my 31st dec 2008 doing my on call session at hospital tuanku jaafar A&E dept.....but wait, dont put on that " haiz so sad for u " face..coz i truly enjoyed it....I know david lee n ling wei wud be smirking when they read this, coz they know how much i don like going to A&E espcially alone with no friend...coz feel so out of place....but this time i enjoyed it....learnt a lot...did loads of procedures....made friends...

of course i was not going to wait n spent my chance ushring new year there...we were already being chased by the doctors to go enjoy life now when we still can....hehehee so the few of us decided to go to seremban Era square to celebrate the new year...Nonetheless the celebration in seremban this year was mellow due to the passing our the state king....so we were suppose to be mourning...

left early coz needed sleep coz the next day (1st of jan) we were going to Melaka....it was a sudden planned trip for my sub group ( my fav sub group since surgery n int med posting) and since we jus had one day holiday decided to drive down to melaka....unfortunately some could not join...

luckily we had chien hou, melaka boy whom took us around n showed us the best palces to eat. we had an awesome time...it was a day well spent.

Flashback series - Episode 4

Christmas Night - Extraordinary Christmas Gift (ECG)

yup as creative as the theme was, xmas night is something annual in seremban clinical skool. its very nice to know that event though seremban imu campus is quite dead usually, all the 5 busy sems take the time to organise these functions for our entertainment. Again like i already told u, our batch c208 is so d very semangat to participate. yup, me included.

Esther had recruited 3/5 of housemates ( me, dej n eley) to be a part of the choir. LingWei was given the honour to be the conductor ( ahem ahem coz like she won nationals level choir all...ahem ahem) aaron, andrew, chingmei, jane, suewen, valene ( all same house ) also took part.

We sang 2 songs 1st was when love came down and the next was a medley of famous xmas carols.

Flashback series - Episode 3

Diwali night 2008 - the fusion of lassya ( the fusion of dance)

the digital backdrop that aaron n i created in 2 hours. cool rite

everywhere we go, it is always our batch that is involved in the celebrations in Imu. so as a tradition, i am always poking my nose into everything, therefore Thomas was organising diwali this year made me incharge of all deco. Jus to let u know, diwali night was not on real diwali day coz the real diwali day i was busy studying for my end of posting exam.

mus say i am very glad that i contributed a lot to imu's diwali night over past few years.
one of which is the theme for all 3 diwali nights so far. in sem 2, it was Nakshatra ( Stars) then in sem 4, it was Chakra (revolution ) and now in sem 6, Laasya ( dance)..

this year, i was given the green light to do wateva i felt wud be best for deco. so i stayed over in seremban over the weekends to get all materials. ( thanks to ren, whom followed me around to help me), to do all the art work ( thanks to megala n chitra whom helped)

besides deco, i was also all out to perform this year. As usual the sem 6 has medley dance performance. unfortunately we have very few indians in sem 6, but who cares if ur not indian,\ thats imu's theme wen diwali comes.
to prove that i not only can dance ( ahem ahem) i also wanted to sing like all the previous years.
but this year sang 2 songs thanks to my lovely singing partners ( megala and ling wei)
my parents came down to seremban, they have never missed any diwali shows so far. and all my lecturers including my tutor and his wife was there.....i think i would know what he was thinking....if only this boy, could put the same effort studying...heheehe.
anyways it was an awesome show, thomas and the whole committee worked hard and it paid off.

Flashback series - Episode 2

The new beggining

finally the time came, for me to start in seremban clinical skool. i was anticipating this for quite some time. and believe me i was right to be excited coz it has been awesome so far.

fortunately for me, i started off my clnical skool with family medicine posting.
We were posted to the health clinic in seremban. tho it may not have been exciting like in hospital, i felt that it was good foundation for me. learnt a lot and and done loads of procedures.

Next was my surgery posting. At first i tot i would not enjoy it much coz i never never had dream to be a surgeon. but the seven weeks in the wards, operation theather and procedure rooms together with the encouragement of a surgeon wannabe ( whom i shall not name) i became very interested in surgery. who knows i would choose surgery as a speciality in the future. The last posting of sem 6 was internal medicine. It was hectic as i expected it to be coz of wide range of cases and so many things to study. although we we fightin for time to study, mus say i learnt a lot from this posting as well.

Flashback series - Episode 1

my 21st surprise.

ok to people whom dunno me, i finally turn 21 on 28th august 2008. don b shocked i m jus 21, i know some people think i m like 24 or 25 d....wat to do..i look super matured..( self obsessed)

so it was a hectic wednesday ( 27th), dejun n i decided to go down to seremban to have a look at our house again, and also to paint our rooms. yup we actually repainted our rooms. we were so ambitious n thought the work will b done in approx 3 hours....but who knew we wud b scrapping, painting, painting, painting and cleaning for the whole day. then dej suggested, we have dinner later tonight at mv. so i also said ok la.

driving back to kl, was so tiring, especially with the jam n rain. finally got home n got ready in time to leave to mv. dej said that it is time i take the challenge n try my not so liked japanese food. why i dislike jap food, it is bcoz i had 2 very bad experience with it previously. only jap food that i have ever eaten besides that 2 episodes were ching mei's sushi..( that 1 is awesome). so i also agreed la....who knows next time in amazing race asia, i have to eat jap food...muahahha

so we walk into this jap shop, near GSC n it looks really nice, the waiter takes us and it seemed we were approaching the wall, when suddenly she draws the doors and tada!!!!!

it was all the geng ( well most of them la)....surprise!!!!

wow i really din expect anythin, coz i knew most of them went back to home town, or holidaying n all...but so nice of them to come. some could not make it, so it ok, thanks for all the wishes..

love hate issue

PBLs @ IMU

for every imu student, pbl is a make it or break it session. u either fall into the " i love this " category or the " omg why are they torturing me" category. well honestly to tell u, i dunoo which category i belong in. i kinda enjoyed most of it, but at the same time it was like no time to prepare and stuff. Going for pbl sessions is basically a gamble, u can leave after the session with so much of new knowledge or u can be demoralised till the ultimate rockbottom to realise how dumb u can be sometimes. its true, n the whole imu can stand by my opinion.hhehehe.
i know ppl who go to the extrme to prep for pbl n some whom are on the other end of the spectrum. but the obvious thing everyone does is...to show some form of interest in each other presentation n add in a few " yup i read that somewhere" lines with added head nodding gestures.

ok ok wat is pbl, pbl is basically a small discussion group that researches on a certain case of the week and we meet up on a separate day to discuss what we have found. the cases presented to us are meant to trigger learning issues that we are interested to cover on, so most of the times it depends on the group, of course we are not let loose, there is always a facilitator. and there is the next prob. the facis can be the super chun ones or the super passive ones.

nevertheless, my pbl experience has been a awesome one. i have been blessed with good facilitators and most of all, a great bunch of pbl group mates. i can honestly say, i have learnt alot from them. dunno if they can say they same bout me, seriously doubt it, but i have la. alot of my friends are always jealous that my group always turns up right. thank god for that. hehe.

now heading into phase 2, clinical skool. there is nomore PBL, its a totally different thing TBL ...once i have experienced it, i shall tell ya bout it. Till then i dedicate this post to all my pbl mates since sem 1 to sem 5. love ya all.

my family vacation

Sun Sand n Sea @ Bali

we try each year to make it a point to travel somewhere, no matter somewhere inside our country or outside. fortunately, we were lucky to manage to get a great deal to Bali, indonesia.

Bali has been 1 of my ultimate places to visit before i die. no no i hope i not dying yet...hehehe.

Thanks to my 4 vietnam trip buddies, i have mastered ( so i think) the art of planning trips...hehe...so i have been working on the itenary for quite some time. thnaks to my cousin whom recommended a good tour guide for us too. finally after all the planning the day finally came. but most of all thank god for the timimg of the trip was jus perfect.we were bound to leave on sunday. who knew my brothers graduation ceremony would fall on the saturday. luckily he managed to make it for the trip. so there we were, on saturday rushing down to malacca for the ceremony ( which i shall blog later) then rushing back to kl, then getting ready for our early morning flight on sunday.

As soon as we reached, you would know ur in paradise, hehe the airport is by the sea, so the planes lands near the bay...so picturesque...and the airport has so many of the balinese sculptures and designs...
we were received by our tourguide, whom then drove us to our hotel. As he was driving, we were amazed to see, everywhere u turn got tourists...so many ppl. He was telling us, then he liked my itienary that i planned n had emailed him prior to trip. he also like my choice for our stay at sanur. u see sanur is about 20 mins away from the bustlings Kuta area: the main entertainment hub for bali. and our hotel the Sanur paradise plaza hotels is located by the beach. Sanur is somewhere in the middle of everything, so yes we cant walk much anywhere, so he drove us everywhere..but it all seems near...

ok after freshing up, we were ready for the 1st day trip, which was to Uluwatu, the southern most point of Bali. it is actually a temple and meditation area located at a cliffhanger. it reminded me so much of the cliff at australia which i have seen in so many travel shows..

one thing to note when travelling to bali, is to never forget ur long pants,coz shorts is a big no no here...unless at beach la.. As u may already know, Bali is filled with hindu temples, not the temples u see here in malaysia or india, theri temples are very different, mainly for meditation. the workmanship is spectacular. ok to this uluwatu place was filled with so many monkeys, huge gigantic godzilla monkeys...they are very tame tho, unless u tak ada kerja lain go cari pasal with them...don leave anything hanging form u bag or even don hold u camera freely, they will come grab. next was to dinner by the beach at Jimbaran bay, where its best to see the sunset. Food was great and ok ok cheap. but the ambience is priceless. ok then we headed back to hotels.

Day 2

we woke up early for a great breakfast dinner at our hotel, then left to bedulu. on the way we had stopped at few places, small towns where they have a special skill representing their town. like one town is skilled ni making sculptures n statues, all those beautiful garden ornaments ppl use these days all from here. then another on silverware, another on furniture, another on painting. and many more like these. then we also stopped by a temple at ubud, the culture and art centre of Bali, where we were treated to a spectacular kecak dance performance.

Then we reached bedulu, where the famous Gua Gajah is located. its a cave where the entrance is carved to a shape of a mystical face. then on the temple grounds, were some water fountains said to pour holy water, looked very ancient mayan temples.

next on agenda, was to the highland area, the volcano mountain, gunung batur. its an active volcano that erupted hundred years ago, destroying a big village at its foot. I was so hoping to go to the volcano site, but we cant mus take helicopter la..aiyah..so we had a lunch buffet at a restaurant nearby, eating on the outsides, surrounded by the scenery of the mountain.

of course where tourist go, there is bound to be attackers, hahaha don get scared, if u have read my previous travle post on vietnam, u know when i say attackers i mean those persistent natives whom keep trying to sell their handicraft goods, so so persistent..luckily manage to escape.

next we went to this spice garden place, where they grow spices and package it to sell...all kinds also got. next to another town where they are the paddy fielders, beautiful scenery shots of the teres teres padi..

then after that, we headed back to sanur.

day 3

supoosed to be my highlight of my itenary, the next place we visited is the infamous Pura Tanah Lot. the temple on the sea. this famous temple is located on the sea, and only if ur a very early, beofre sunrise, u can find a walkway formed on the ground leading to the temple. once ur a bit late, the tide gets higher, then the only athoer way is by taking a small boat that leads to cave opening. this is said to be a very powerful temple, mailny visited during full moon, where thousand of people flock here to meditate. the mainland grounds are also well kept and has many parks inside...very very beautiful place, highly recommended.

after this, we visited a few more places, where we wanted to do some shopping, handicraft shopping mainly...

then after lunch, we decided to visit the famous kuta beach. the sand is so soft and shiny. so nice then the waves is magnificent. thats why this place is famous surf spot. everwhere u turn there is a sign board, learn to surf , rent a surf board etc etc.

we had great time on beach, the water so cool and fun...

then we also passed by kuta town, so packed with clubs and tourist spots, here is where u go for the designer labels and shopping here can be more expensive. passed by the memorial built on the grounds where the bali bombings happened few years back. We found a indian restaurant and had dinner there n then it was back to hotel time.

day 4

our last day, we spent the mornings doing some last minute shopping. i swam in the hotel pool on last day, never had the time earlier. hotel also had many activities daily, from yoga and aerobic classes, coooking lessons, massage, gym, and many more. we then left to airport early and got on to our flight. it was so obvious all the people heading back had done loads of shopping,as they were carrying all the nicely packed huge huge thingys into the plane. some also got surf boards and all.

in short this family trip had turned out to be a awesome trip. now with me going to seremban, brother strating to work...dunno when we can travel together again.

Saying goodbyes

wow i din realise that i am gonna miss so many ppl. u may say that we jus spent a short time of 2 and half years, but who knew this moment and period of time would have made a great impact in ur life. i have really gained a bunch of friends whom i can trully call "my friends". this is just the beginning of the many goodbyes to come.

it all began when i had to say goodbye to wei chun during my EOS study period. it was quite ,sad that time, coz we were so busy with exams, din even say goodbye to him properly. now he is doin his final year at strachlyde and at least i know he is doin well.

Chun, is officially the best pharmacy friend i ever n will have. he is such a kid eventho he is eldest amongst us in student council. we have done so many silly things together, n to think people thought this sole pharmacy rep would not click with the rest of us in SRC...well they were so wrong...hope chun is doin well...

then after some time, things were back to normal again...exam and results and holiday..but this time holiday was not the same..it was actually my last time to spend with some of my close frens whom are going overseas for phase 2. i know, we can always say we will meet up again sometime in future..believe me, i m one of those super optimistic ones...but come to think of it...will it be the same again...i really hope it will

next was aditya, it was really a rush time..he was leaving the day we were getting back from penang....and usual dits had some last minute prob to settle before his flight back to kenya. but swarna, james n i still decided to wait and meet him...and it was such an emotional time...he was tearing up and it was so sad to know that he might not even come back to malaysia.

aditya is like a brother to me, we shared a lot of things with each other. and i know he is someone i can always trust....altho sometimes i really worked him alot during student council, and we all bullied him alot....but ultimately he was jus a unique character..always telling us bout kenya..gonna miss him.

the next time i had to goodbye was to caryn on sunday. kevin n caryn dropped my place, luckily i manage giv caryn a parting gift...the whole season of so you think you can dance...hehehe. Caryn is such a bubly character, the is no other better name that suits her...she has a big personality and big heart. wont forget all the great time in cheer practice...bouncy bouncy..hehehe..I hope she will enjoy her life in queens belfast.

and yesterday i met up with min. it was quite fortunate he could slot me david n avinder in his busy schedules. no i m not sarcastic, he has yet to finish loads of preps before he leaves this thursday.Min, is one unique person, i was really really lucky to have him with me in student council, we have built a great friendship. and he has taught me alot. eventhough sometimes he can be super sarcastic, but sometimes he can be as lame as me....i m so touched..hehehe ..manchester watch out for this hyper boy in his red jacket.

happy but not too happy..

finally i saw the result episode of So you think you can dance. it was an awesome show filled with all my favourite performances revisited. yup co-incidently most of my favourite dances were some of the judges favourites too. This time i was really torn apart by all the dancers..all nice people..but as i told you my ultimate fav couple ( who happens to be the final original couple standing) is katee and joshua...so i was hoping it will either one of them. i was supporting katee more...1stly coz she reminds me of caryn...and then coz she is such a superb versatile dancer. never once in the bottom 2 dancers ( compared to the other final 4) .

everyone was shocked wen katee didn't win...but they thought she deserved it, n for the 1st time created best female dancer prize of USD 50000. but ulitmately joshua took home the title n i m proud of him...really cool..

this is the latest season of the well aclaimed show and i can clearly say it has been the best season yet. the dancers this 2008 is awesome, the competition, the dance, the choreographer and performances has been really good. i will truly recommend anyone who loves dance to watch this. anyways i cant wait for the finals tonight!!! the final four will be peroforming all kinds of styles and tommorrow we will find out who is the winner.

well i definately have my favourites, these couple have been the best for the 1st 5 weeks when they were together, every performance was done perfectly and i loved it. then when it became top 10, the couples were split and then they danced with every other dancers and finally were co-incidently paired again last week and it was a beautiful return. one of them is my ultimate fav. and the couple i have been talking bout is....... ( n don think i will name my fav ..dun wanna jinx the person) hahaha

My buddy's 21st surprise bday.

Yup yet another surprise, hmmm i shud consider getting hired to become some professional event manager. ok wel lets enlighten you with the story. it started a few weeks back, i was asked to become the accomplice for the surprise by Mrs Yong (dejun's mom) who is no stranger to me, as she used to be a teacher a my high skool, and us 4 ( my high skool buddies- dej, tzemeng, sngming and i) refer to her as our fairy god mother..hahahaha

well ya, she gave me the details an asked me check out if our frens can make it. so thru out penang trip i was trying to sneak here and there and ask everyone in dejun's absence.
the story ccontinues, on the day we get back from penang when dejun's sis handed over a scroll of paper ( the invitation n part details) to me right in front of victim. felt like in some james bond movie...hahaha
so then my work was easy...called up the crew and most of them luckily were around and they could turn up.
on the day of the mission, we were all there early and waited to the victim. later then he arrives and we attacked him...." surprise!!!!" and he was really shocked, dunno if he knew or not but he was shocked!
His bro n sis made a short slide show on dejun and it was very touching, so cool. all of us went awwwww... it slide show also included a pic of my high skool buddies n i, those were my thin days, sob sob...
later after the cake cutting, we went on a tour upstairs at star village, where its exclusive for club members only. the owner is really creative, he has made 3 rooms with 3 different themes.
one of which is the haunted room theme. he could only accomodate 6 ppl for each tour...at the beggining, jane n christene asked me why haunted ( as they wer not aware bout the theme room thingy) .so i crapped...last time someone died there while eating, so now its haunted....and i tell you they we freaked out...seriously i din expect they fall for it....and wen they knew i crapped, i kinda expected to get some whacking...hahaha.
But i mus say, the room was kinda scary, as the owner din have any lights set up, he brought us in using a torchlight, and everyone was like pulling each others shirt and standing close by, then he would trick us, n shine the light to some corpse replica...was really cool, he had some real cool gadgets, sound effects and deco. we were literally screaming like hell. and when we walked back down, people were starring at us...so memalufying. all in all the mission was a success. we hope dejun was surprised and had a great time.

it was a surprise tailored by christene and jane. a simple 3 gal outing for food turned to a surprise b'day . Unfortunately, not many could turn up. even james could not make it but of course he celebrated with her on the actual day. so we hope ching mei is surprised.

ok i know i m suppose to post bout how we celebrated and all...but the more interesting story is bout the restaurant itself.

ok so wat happen is tat, we started ordering our food and the waitress ( whom now will be refered to as " Muka masam" denied us from ordering plain water. said that we have to order from mineral water section..which was freakin 13 bucks....so we also din order la.

Then we kept talkin bout it, apprently from christene n boris whom have been here before there was no such nonsense and the people were so friendly.

later once we were recommended to try the deserts, i asked for a desert menu, muka masam said dun have. ok la so we walked to the display counter and i was mesmerised by the cakes...n so the blogger in me, emerged and starting taking photos..everyone else had no prob, but guess who came to stop me, UR right..muka masam!!!!

so now we are done eating, another waiter happen to pass by, and boris wanted to experiment, he ordered

experiment was then replicated for another waiter, and results were proven...

i came to the conclusion that muka masam, is an undercover spy from another bistro, who is on the mission to sabotaj this shop. hence it explains her motives and conducts.....genius or what?

hello all, i m back, yup after the many days of travelling. must say the pass few days has been awesome....hope life will be always as fun as it seems.

anyways, about 17 of us, drove up to penang on tuesday. met up in front of uni, completely was oblivious that it was a normal skool day for the rest of the uni,there we were 3 cars parked at the entrance, arranging the bonnet making noise taking pictures...don't blame us, but that the best meet up point.

adrian drove alisha, christene n dejun... david drove yy's car with her n eley n swarna drove ching mei, jane n me. missin 6? yup, we were gonna meet up with kevin, caryn, aaron, fiona, mui n james whom were spending the few days before this trip at kedah. journey was long and tiring but ultimately fun. as u may already know, i never let anyone sleep in our car.....kept cracking jokes and playing games.

we stopped at bidor to try the infamous herbal duck. hmmmm i stuck to my fav and ordered curry mee. and we kept changing food every 5 minutes like ospe..so typical of us imu students. everyone agreed my meal was the best..yay me.

after lunch, we left straight to penang. wanted to take pics of the bridge, but it was not so picture perfect, as they were doin some maintenance job. drove up the curvy windy roads to batu ferringhi and then finallyfound our apartments we were gonna stay for 4 days; sri sayang apartments which was really cheap la.

that night we spent time at the hawkers centre at gurney drive. ate like cows....again i went for curry mee, but tried their char koay teow and pasembor, n bubur cha cha and clams. all so nice.

afte eating like some gluttens, we went to gurney plaza, mainly to cold storage for a mission

we were divided to 3 groups and each group was given a budget a list of items that we must purchase. all the items purchased was going to be used for our bbq the next night.

i went with james n ching mei, thank god they are the best cooks in the group. within minutes we had got all the items we needed. along the way we were given many road blocks and many of the other teams tried to sabotaje us by trying to ask questions. but nothing could stop this trio, we won the race n all was within budget. we even finished so far ahead, we help another team by locating thier items....so the drama i tell u.

ok that night we played all the card games u can think off. but the most interesting of all was murder games. it was so tense and dramatic. adrian of course was the best la. he kept analyzing the game like soem csi....everyone was always pointing to david and me as the murderers. and jane n alisha never got a chance to finish a game coz they were always the first 2 to die. it was really fun. then we also played a few rounds of chee cheong fun ( the game i created) ....still cant forget swarna's bcbgmaxmara....caryn n yy pennsylvania n philadeplhia or is it the other way around.

on day 2
as usual i woke up at odd hours, n decided to check out the beach. was so pretty, i took a walk along the beach and wen i got back most was still asleep. so i decided to pull out my weapon the whistle. the targets were jane n christene. sorry gals. ching mei n james were my accomplice, went in with the camera, n then out of nowehere blew the whistle...they screamed like crazy n started shouting at us. n but ultimaely plan worked they were up. we ate breakfast at an indian restaurant that served western breakfast.

the beach was really nice, quite a number of tourist but still notbad. we played dodgeball and volleyball. and then tried some watersports, banana boat and parasailing. some of us also went for a swim....the waves were so nice. for lunch we went to the much mentioned jalan selamat...fiona kept saying we all shud feel save there... tried the famous char koay teow,, ice kacang,oyster thingy, otak otak and of course my curry mee.

that night we prepared for our bbq party at beach. i brought my portable pit, did not think it will be enuff for all the food we were gonn cook, but amazingly it was good enuff.

with the help of chief chef james wong, sous chef kevin yong, the waitress caryn and "the fanner" n "the butter guy" myself; the food truned out really good n delicous. we had made chicken wings, sausages, cheese cocktail sausage, corn, baked patato, baked sweet patato, tomato, tauhu bakar, garlic bread.

and for the highlight of the day, we had planned to throw a surprise celebration for dejun n ching mei whoose birthdays falls end of this month. i kinda knew most of our friends would not be around during thier bday so we made it special @ penang.hope they are surprised.

Day 3.

wokeup a bit later, did all the packing and we decided to check out early as we wanted to go find the famous biscuits at georgetown. unfortunately it was raining cats and dogs, but we still managed to find the shop and i was introduced to the tau sa pia..heheh for sure i spelt it wrong. these cookies were really tasty...so i bought loads for home. after leaving penang island we headed to tambun to try their seafood. it was quite ok, loved the prawns.

after that the next stop was at tapah for rest. btw the journey back quite similar no one was asleep this time it was james n i whom were the entertainers. played like so many games.

we reached so late in the evening bout 6 ish. all was tired and the best part was this was not the end of our travelling for most of us....

in short penang was awesome and what made it more awesome was being with my closest buddies.....

really getting bored @ home

the day after exams, i had to clear all my notes and pack them back into the files. believe me, it is not an easy task. i have been invading my living room during the pre exam period. just could not find the mood to study in my study room, and no it is not because my room is filled with posters of hollywood and bollywood stars and my ex-lover aishwarya rai who is now happily married to abishek bachan, yup i decided to move on with life, so now it is deepika padukone who starred in om shanti om. hehe come on la....a guy has his fantasies.

ok ok moving on to my original story, the exam week was really a super tensed week. but as i was studying, i was also planning our batch farewell party. of course, i had the help from all my lovely frens. they are always dragged into everythin i do. so on the last day of the 4-day exams, we were super busy with the last minute prep. luckily i was in the 1st few groups, that means i finished OSCE before lunch time. so we drove to eat at stevens and then went to carefour to get deco stuff.

it is officially the end and the start of a new beggining.

greetings people, don't mind me, but i am going to be very oblivious of the fact that this is very first post after 4 months. but who cares right, the good thing is that i am back for good. i shall not cause any more pain and suffering to my fellow readers whom have been deligently checking my blog for updates. god has answered your prayers. and in the same note, let me tell y'all that god has answered mine too.
i am very grateful, that i have passed my exams and completed my phase 1 of medical degree in bukit jalil. so now we from m1-06 are to be considered half doctors. of course deep down, everyone wishes to have done a wee bit better, but i tak kisah....i wanted to pass all my papers and i did...
i also wanna take this time to wish all the very best to those whom will be re-sitting, its not the end guys, we will pray for you too.

beleive it or not, but 2 and half years of my life in IMU has gone pass me without even noticing it. we came in to imu with all the hopes and dreams of becoming super grades doctors, but now leaving IMU bukit jalil with the smiles, just pass enuff d....it's true. the one thing i am gonna miss most of these years is definately my batch M106, the funky chicken. we have made some great histories and broken many records in imu. i got to know 178 other individuals and i m proud to say they are my friends. ( 1 or 2 ahem ahem ok ok fren fren la)
going to miss all those fun activites we did together, the stay overs, the b'day parties, the road trips, the study group, the lecturers, the staff, my beloved src, and most of all my gang...

Why am i feeling so emo u ask, well to those whom are not aware, 3/4 of my batchmates will be continuing the phase 2 clinicals @ unis overseas. and only 1/4 will stay on to continue in seremban clinical skool. i am in the latter. so those close friends whom i consider more than firends, u don know how much i gonna miss u. all the dramas we had together will always be replayed in my memories.

so now moving on to the new chapter of my life, i will be starting off in s'ban on 2nd september. cant wait, why coz its gonna be a totally new experience. thank god, we gotta a house ready too..... letmme give a shoutout to my future housemates ; dejun! David! eley! davidlee! not to mention, we will be known as the myviclub house or the myvi showroom house as a result of the 4 myvis parked outside. wakaka.

but before i move on there, Penang and BAli ...here i come!!!!!!!

Heyya guys, yes i finally i see the smirk on your face...its tru i have finally updated my blog. after many months of blurness, i finally found something great to blog bout....my holiday in Hanoi.
this was totally a last minute thing, i still remember aaron asked, kaj u wanna go hanoi..i was like ya!!! and then weeks of planning and google'in and research, we finally were in LCCT. not to mention we were 6 hours early for our flight. so we spent the time learning new card games and planning our journey once we reach there.
this is was so an amazing race experience for me.. and i m sure it was the same for the other 4, james aaron kevin n mui how.
upon reachin hanoi, we were suddenly struck with breezing chill air. it was 13 degree celcius and i have never experienced winter weather before. we were shivering as we travelled from the airport to our hotel. i immediately made a fool out of myself when i tried to compete with the driver for the driver seat, how was i to know vietnam ppl drive on the left. ish ish...

At the hotel, we were again caught by surprise when james found someone sleeping in our room..it was super funny coz we tot it was a dead body ...then found out it was one of the worker...he turned out to be a nice dude. BTW the hotel rooms were amazing..so much better than wat i had expected.
at the begining of this journey we had divided the duties during the trip

aaron: the pR & booking guy
james: the navigator n timeline person
kevin : the chief financial controller
muihow: the camera + tripod guy cum porter
kajen: the souvenir buyer n alarm clock...

yup my job was mainly jus to remind everyone to buy souvenirs n wake them up every morning...so unfair jus coz i always wake up 1/2 hour beofre my alarm rings.

anyways first 2 days were spent in hanoi itself...it was super duper cold there...we were wearing like 2 or 3 tops a time. we did a lot of walking and alot of map navigating...all for the amazing race training la..hehe
the 2 main locations of our stay in hanoi were the old quarter n french quarter...there were so many shops so diversifed n so cantik cantik...food was not a prob at all...n its good...don beleive ppl aobut having iarhoea n stufff...we were perfectly fine...
since our trip was a budget trip, we did change part of our money at KL but realised that we shud have changed all coz malaysian currency is like unknown there...everything is in dong(vietnam currency) or in dollars...when we were super desperate to change money, i called the malaysain embassy n tried my luck, they then refered me to maybank....i called maybank n was soo excited when the guy who spoke on phone pronounced my name perfectly...i immediately knew he is a malaysian....hahahaha..we ran to maybank..n they we met Mr chan, the regional manager of maybank vietnam...he was like an angle to us, he used his personal money n changed for us..he even added additonal 5 USD for us...so nice of him...

ok moving on, our third day was the highlight of the trip, it was our tour to halong bay. journey started with a wan ride for 3 hours from hanoi n the jeti an haphong town, we then boarded our cruise ( called the "junk") i was quite surprised, it was really nice, had 8 rooms, a dining area n an upper deck for view. really cool...
I had a room all by myself andeach room had its own toilet. all this in a boat!!!! so cool.
and mus i even say, ha long bay is spectacular...breath taking ...awesome...no wonder its on the 1000 places u have to see b4 u die list'.
our tour comprised of the accomodation, food, n kayaking...n we also went to a cave, where legend says, a dragon mated with a local vietnamese gal....so beautifull...
one part of the bay looked jus like a the king kong movie set...so nice.....

ok then we got back to hanoi on thursday ...and that night we were taking a berth train to Sapa, the highland area, the border of viet and china...
For dinner, ren manage to find us a french fine dining retaurant. its actually a training restaurant but the place is so frenchy n classy food is really good...price also boleh tahan.
that night we boarded the train for a 9 hour journey to sapa. train journey was fun, playing cards chating n sleeping...Once we reached sapa we were attacked by so many locals who were asking to to stay at their hotel n stufff...took us bout 1/2 hour to lose their trail. ish soo scary..
Sapa is another wonderful spot...so cool, refreshing n pretty. We got ourselves a tour guide, a native tribe girl who then leaded us on a 4 our hike to the cultural village aorung the mountains...
was super tiring but worth it....i hope i lost weight there...hehe

finally, after the train journey back to hanoi, it was our last day our trip, saturday....we specially allocated few hours to find souvenirs. we split to 2 teams and then met for lunch at Pho 24 9 a fast food place) Pho ("fur") is like their national food..its hor fun la...but relli good. At Pho's we revealed that the split in the morning was a plan to get a birthday cake for aaron...yup ren's 21st bday was celebrated in hanoi...of course it wasnt extravagant but with the money we had he was happy...

With that, our trip came to an end....reached KL bout 1030pm on saturday. Even tho, i kept getting stres thruout the whoe trip for looking different (not vietnamese, not mat salleh...) Must say, this was really really a fantastic experience for me...travelling with frens..( these 4 guys were jus so awesome) ( now i know...james is very good with maps, mui is soo lame, ren is like my kind of traveeling type and kev is like the camwhoring king )
We took millions of pics, i spent the last hour looking a them in the dvd, n i still haven finished looking ..so imagine how crazy we got...we also manage to film an episode of national geography, cloverfield, deal or no deal and amazing race... not to mention britney spear's songs were inspirational to the 5 of us...hehehehee

rest assured that this is would not be the end of my travels..........cya soon

Bombay Dreams

Diwali party at my place....

yup this year was quite jam packed...as diwali was the day after my repro exams. i could not help out that much with chores at home...told my mum that i can only start cleaning after exam. felt like this year shud call my close frens to my place...mainly because most of them won't be aroud in malaysia the same time next year. ...so the theme for this party was Bombay dreams ( something that i cracked up when fi asked what the theme??) everyone was like suppose to come bout 7pm....the only punctual ones were ren,kev,caryn,mui, n fio....then slowly slowly the crowd grew...the grand entrance was made by our dear min...who came superoverdress....hahaah kiddin la..kudos to him for taking all the trouble to go to kl to buy a Sherwani suit ( indian guy costume).
Everyone enjoyed the food, all indian food full of spicy stuff.....i expected david lee to be crying but he seemed to enjoy it....even jane like the dhall soo much....as usual james packed back...heheehehe.
the geng was like complaining on how busy their life is....to attend soo many parties...today at my place ..tomoro at swarna's....super perasaan betul..

Memoirs of the past few months...part 2

1. chinese new year at eleys - now we all know how to get to her place witout getting lost...or do we??????

2. post exam celebration - its official that keny rogers is the spot...its our happy place after exams...

3. yay Jordin sparks - wen we were idol frenzy..came to skool early to watch finale...

4. i watched om shanti om- its was superb for me...loved it...went wit my aunt n cousins navina, thareni n nandhini...

5. phing- phing 21st bday - at sunway lagoon...it was a superb party, thanks phing for the wonderful invitation... we had a blast

6. Chitra's 21st bday - at kajang clubhouse...another lovely occasion...dejun drove me,swarna, fiona and aaron...we had a amazing time, great food, dance floor n performances. she looke gorgeous in her saree ( waiting for pics). btw we got lost on the way back...till we went to a petrol station and asked the people for directions...ren n i felt so like amazing race...hehehe

7. Wai tengs 21st bday - Cotton club - ya i know so many parties rite...who is complaining....

she was stunning in her outfit, cute crown too...superb food...nice club..( 1st experience hehehe)...i drove this time together with aaron, fiona, ling wei n swarna to kl...din get lost..ok ok a bit got...

8. I had to do a presentation during DOME ( discussion on medical education)...the topic was mentor mentee moving forward- students expectation...i was usper nervous as there were like soo many students,lecturers n deans....mine was one of out the 3 presentation ( the other 2 were dr jenifer perera n prof kang )..of course i dragged along my src buddies to sit there n give moral support..but they were more interested in the food....haha kiddin...but anyways it turned out fine....better than i expected a lot of lecturers said i did a good job....some even took my slides...hehee perasan betul!!!

memoirs of the past few months.....part 1

well good to be back...wow the overwhelming fan mails i received over the past few months wen i temporarily stopped blogging...people were so devastated wen they din get thier daily dose of kajenlingam....ok ok kiddin no fan mails all..only ellice and her scolds for not updattin in ages...

let me 1st start of wif my bday..the day i turned 20. it was a typical day in uni. dejun and james took me out to sri petaling to get some stationery i wanted, then the plan was to go james place to store the stuff...and the next thing i know...i was surrounded by my buddies. they celebrated both christene and my birthday ( 26th and 28th august). all of them had brough some food..it was wonderful potluck party...
the celebration din stop there.....

here i was chairing the student council meeting...in my serious face going thru the agenda...wen mins says next agenda is lost n found items to be stored in our office room...n one of the item is this ( pointing at a white plastic bag)...he handed it over and they all shouted surprise..happy bday...it was my bday gift.....u can see the pics below..

the reason i tot of blogging bout my bday is coz recently i found out that i do not look the age i am...recent studies show that 9/10 people guess my age wrongly....the worst part is their assumptions are always of bigger numbers!!!!!!!arrghhh do i really look old?????
some say 22, 23 even 25 ada???? come on la...ish ish i need antiaging products....hahahaha

VENUS M106,

the cheerleading team of m106..yes i mus say wen i decided to join cheerleading last year for IMU cup, was a bit ackward...which guy on earth will join cheerleadin...probably its coz of too much streotyping...but it was a decision i will never ever regret...the whole 3 weeks of prep for imu cup 2006 was somethin we would never forget...and the best part we got 3rd place...jus sem 2 students...

well this year was no different, we were allready talkin bout cheerleadin the last day of OSCE exams in july...ya ya i know we said after comp last year we wud all go for gymnastic classes and learn how to do summersaults and splits..and no it din work out....again this year we had to rush the very last 2 1/2 weeks beofre the comp. practisin every day whenever we were free. stay back till late nights, pnl;y manage to practice as a complete team the day before the comp...all the drama...all the politics...woohahahha med skool could not have been much more interesting...

after all said...i could have asked for more..or could we ?

james and ching...and all the rest really pushed for the skies...we were choreographing till the very last day..this time we were more preped...ready with a new set of costumes..haha not much jus new tracks...n new shoe nike k don play play...( thnaks vivian!!)...gold hairspray...new play cards...superb flags...we evn synchronised the shoelace tying.... somewhere deep down we were like mayb can win...but most of ourt feelings were don make a fool of out of ourselves...n we wud thank god if can even get a placing...

and thanks god all our efforts really paid off....we manage to secure a silver medal...somethin we really din expect....the best part was after the comp, the CHARM ( malaysian national cheer squad) judges came to us and told it was a close comp, we lost to falcons(sem5) by 0.1 marks after we had been penalised 5 marks for overtime...argghhhh!!! the feeling was so painfull...ching and james was soo worked up...but but we all took it quite well...but we werer really thankful it all worked out well...its said the sem 5 gets placing for tradition sake...hahahaa if thats true that means we were the best...ok ok do not want to star a fire here...but top 3 in 2years...is sooo cool rite...

oh yes forgot to mention...with our win, our batch manage to get the bronze for the overall IMU cup...eventho we din win that many medals....i tell you that night was jus awsome... somethin we wud neva forget...anyways this was our last imu cup...next year will be in seremban..no more cheerleading...the only this i'll be cheering or leading is hospital postings...hahaha

The Connexion,

yup, my very own creation..THe connexion,imu's 1st ever student news channel. This news is done by students made for students. of course it would not be possible without my dearest SRC memebrs who helped and my dearest aaron n mui who produced it. on the 6th we launched the 1st episode of the connexion in atrium, we had a massive crwod....now we are opening the crew to all imu students. hopefully there will some ppl who wants to contribute...if you missed the 1st episode, you can watch it on the plasma screens around imu... here are some pics of the launch

during the hols, we visited rumah ozanam, pj....we had a great day with the children. the cool part was soem of the kids go to the same high school i went to( Bukit bintang boys school) and they could recognize me when they were like so juniors when i was leaving the skool. .. we played some games witht the kids...ate lunch with them..

My trip to Chiang Mai...

it was a really good break that i needed, well eventho it was jus for 4 days, and i still attended phone calls from IMu, it was still a holiday. Chiangmai if you din know, is in thailand...not vietnam....its near the border of laos, n myanmar. its like the 3biggest city in thailand.

we flew with air asia,,like duh??..this is like my 3rd flight in my life..so sad huh?

my parents n i stayed at suriwongse hotel which was situated right in the hub of the city, every night there is night markets along the roads of chiang mai...n u can bargain like nobodies business...with my mum lagi teruk..she should start giving bargain classes. haahahaha.

Happy Birthday Dejun

ok i know a bit too late to post but who cares, its dejun's bday everyone needs to know.
well we couldnt much of a surprise coz we had already planned to take him out on his bday ( 31st july)...harry potter's bday..
so the plan was that eley and swarna would take dejun out for movie ( simpsons which i had already watched) n i will then join them later for lunch. The surprise was as they waited at kenny rogers for me. he did not expect to see david ( who was suppose to be in phuket) , yee yoon ( who was suppose to be still in UK) n boris. and we 4 walked in with cake. To our surprise, some of our juniors were also there, teck jian n wei lin n some others ...they were co-incidently there n when they hearded it was dejuns bday, they come over to our table an sung the bday song in choir style. He got really embarressed.

it was actually quite some time we had all gone out together, with holidays and electives..n me busy with src...so dejuns bday was a perfect reason go otu n have fun...

i have known dejun for like 8years d now....he is definately one in a million...thanks for everything dejun...now ur 20 d....don worry i shall catch up soon...hehehe

Surprise Victory party

ok firstly let me tell you that no secret can get pass me...at least thats wat i tot until i got totally blindsided n surprised wen everyone planned for a party for us in conjuction with winning the elections...

here is the story...it was all min's idea, he had discussed with his major accomplice dejun n they had all planned out....this was 3 weeks before, then slowly some of the other frens n new SRC members were informed...n lastly i was like the only person who din know n it was really a surprise...everyone acted so well...

dejun, min n lingwei had communicated with each other in lecture theater using sms...eventho they sit in front of each other...jus so that i don get suspicious...jane on the other hand who is known for accidently saying things..acted so well...

james who knew bout it on the day, had planned everythin, i actually followed him to make an announcement in sem5...while the others set the room up for the party...how dumb was i...

david, eley, yy had conversations behind my back...adiya, david lee, n the rest all were superb actors..

anyway i mus say i was surprise n was extremely happy to c all our close friends got togehter n celebrated for us...thnaks guys...love you.

The Wedding of India's top actor Abhishek Bachchan( son of amitabh bachan bollywood legend) with former beauty queen and current top actress Aishwarya Rai took place at Bachchan's family home

The three day event which started on 18th of April 2007 with the Sangeet night.It was really a Bollywood traditional one with both the Rais and Bachchans as well as their relatives and friends putting up dance performances. As for the highlight of the Sangeet night a dance performance was put up by both Ash-Abhi and another dance performance was done by Amitabh Bachchan -Jaya Bachchan. The day was a memorable one for those participated with the Bride and Bridegroom. All the guest were treated with Mumbai's best Cuisine.

The 19th of April 2007 was Mehendi day, which was held at Aishwarya Rai's home.As for the Indian tradition, mehendi or henna is given to the bride by the groom’s family to apply in ways of beautiful tattoos on her hands and feet. This ceremony is used to take place at the bride’s residence before the wedding. The Mehendi ceremony at Aishwarya Rai's residence was a private one with only close relatives from the bride’s family. Abhishek’s sister Shweta, actress Sonali and some members of the Bachchan family arrived in a bus for the Mehendi ceremony in the evening. The mehendi was specially brought from Sojat which is in Rajasthan. The ceremony nearly lasted for 3 hours. Aishwarya wore a red and gold sari specially designed by Nita Lulla.

The wedding day was 20th April 2007. On that day of the wedding, the baraat left from "Jalsa" to move towards the venue of the wedding, "Prateeksha" at 4 pm. Jalsa and Prateeksha both are Bachchan's Bungalows. The guests were taken by the special bus. On the way Abhishek Bachchan got off from the bus and climbed on a beautifully decorated white horse. Abhishek Bachchan was wearing a clear white outfit filled with beautiful hand work. His face was covered with the traditional style of flowers. Abhishek was weaving hand to the bystanders on the way to Prateeksha with traditional wedding band and dancers. Abhi’s sister Shweta was also seen gyrating with the baraatis while father Amitabh Bachchan was supervising the entire event.The baraatis reached the venue and the mahurat for the wedding which was 5.30 pm on the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya, which is a best day to have Hindu Weddings. The wedding ceremony began behind the close doors With high security measures both in and around the house. There were more than 400 security personal on duty. Heavy traffic was experienced as the baraat was en route; fans were running and pushing for a glimpse of stars. Media people with line of cameras too were capturing all the possible actions.

espcially with THE ABYSS...
yup that was d theme for this years orientation...our batch were the organizers for the M107 orientation n that also means we get to rag the juniors...hehehehe
the abyss team was quite cun...everyone was very prepared for their activity....
for me...i was in charge of variety night with the lovely yet crazy ching li...hahahaha
n the best part was i had my own team....the crew behind the variety night....variety night is actually like the most anticipated n most dreadful par of orientation...all the junors get the perform n there is also the imccs....oh my god really traumatizing...but it was reli fun the last time...so thats y i wanted to organize it this year....n it was a success..
this years theme was JUstice be Served HOt....which was inline with the imcc theme of superwomans....

it was really a spectacular nite...eventho we started late as usual but it turned out good... this year we wanted everything to b different...so d 1st change we did was to the runway.....for the catwalk....normally its jus a row of tables arranged vertically....but this time we actually made like an extra platform....with a hole in the middle....sum said it was like in Grammy awards style....n the was a structure that we built which was suppose to represent a kryptonite which was lit...in line with the theme superwoman.....

the show started off with the video shoot of the imccs...this time around we did it more like a pageant style....where all the contestants introduced themsleves in different locations in imu...n then they all proceeded to the carpark where we actually did a carwash shoot...it was traumatizing but cool...even the imcc liked it...n then once the video was over...the kryptonite lit, d smoke machine emitted the smoke n all the imccs were on stage fully dressed n they performed for a group dance choreographed by chingli, james n fiona for the song "you're 1 in a million"......everyone loved it...it was a new attemp of course n ching li n myslef felt so happy it turned out so good.. then the night progressed with the imcc preformance n group act....sum were realy gud n sum was jus ok ok only...

oh ya let me not forget that the backdrop this year was awesome....so creative thanks to ziyun n kee ping n all others who had played a role making it so chun.....not to mention the prizes this year lagi hebat....we even had subsidary titles like miss congenialty, miss photogenic...n they got a sash!!!!! n the imcc winners actually got a tiara!!!!! it was reli awesome...thanks to puifun, liyann, suewen, vanessa who put lots a effort n they were also running around like crazy that day helpin me make sure all groups were ready...so chun ppl...n then my pa guy aditya who made sure they were no glithces on that day....i hve seen worse happen before so gud job....danny n noami...who were in r*** squad leaders were really gud..eventho sum seniors were not happy coz we really cut down d R*** but sum juniors were telling that there was still a lot of R*** so i guess it was it was ok.... zakhir n thazin were reli gud as d mc.they worked so hard to prepare the questions n prep the imccs so organised...james who was a life saviour n halped me handle the stage crew on last minute notice...thank you so much....n then to all my judges fiona, christene, priya(sem4), puvesh(sem5) min(m107 orientation pres), ching n myself...with the help from the lovely lily who had the calculators working the whole night score keeping...i think we choosed the right winners!!!! n finally ren n muihow ( previously known as budding directors in M106 now known as the veterants in the field of directing)..they reli did a great job with the whole video shoot...theyre like on the way to oscars d....

it was reli a chun night...n i m not saying it jus because it was my event....but i reli got so many compliments from that day.....n i need to mention that i m sure every other orientation event was jus as awesome or even better that this...coz i know for a fact that the m106 committee reli put lotsa effort to make this orientation a chunted one....so kudos guys kudos to min!!!

Hello Piggyy....

hahahah yes i would like to take this oppurtunity to wish all mua frens happy chinese new year.....n happy holidays....n welcome the year of the pig....oink oink...

last friday was the last of classes b4 our 1 week hols started...at 1st wen dr jenniffer walked in for lecture...i turned at back n was quite shocked that lectur hall was half empty...kept whispering to everyone to come sit close in front...at least then it wud look a bit more full...hahahaha but to my surprise many came...once she started d lecture...

oh ya we even reminded the class to wear sumthin red or chinesy...for a photo session...n to create the cny mood...n not bad many did...eley, xandra. phing phing n yy actually wore cheongsam....n khee chun wore the samfu...n the others wore red....n pink n purplish...n peacheish....n sum sesat ppl wore blue, white, green, grey, brown, n everythnig else...but never mind we still took a batch pic...n later eliminated the non red people for a CNY pic....hahahaha

besides that ren had to ask everyone to stay back to a batch pic for he final part of the m107 orientaton video.....everyone was so excited...summore muihow( ren's co-producer)

used his camera skill to take a very chun video of everyone that day.....u guys will c it soon k....i cant wait....

later everyone wished everyone else n we left..we even wished min, caryn n ren al d best coz they had pbl after that with prof htin aung....n they reli need the luck.......since it was early...dejun n myslef followed fiona, mui n kevin back to fi's place...to hang out....there we got a sneak preview of the video...n best part is i learnt how to play mah jong......at least d simplest version....thats bout it ppl...

bye bye rotation.....

a tribute to group F

(big sigh)...rotation is over....n now Respi gonna start....then soon heamato...then later GI...then EOs......its givin me chills d.....

never mind i shall talk bout that but let me tell you my experience thru out rotations...with group F....

it all started wen a group of people were grouped up together for a mission....the team had 27ppl....n each of them had sumthni different to offer.....n thus they became THe League of D Happening Group F................n this tale which i m gonna tell you is non other than their adventures.....n so behold....

THe Chronicles of Group F- the lion, the switch & the stethoscope.....

....it was the 1st few days of their adventure .. n they met the lion....non ther than Dr Francis Achike..... yes it was CSU n we were terrifed wen we found out that debriefing was gonna b done by DR francis.....n it was a bit scary...coz he actually jus had VIVA with the sem3 who din pass their Eos...n he was furious wit sum of their answers...so he asked us lots of question...n lepaskan geram on us....but it tunred out to b not so bad after all...

next the team's next task was to meet the wizard Prof Robinson.....hahahaha it was lab...n it was so so fun...coz we got learn how to actually analyse the pics from MMS..n we even had case studies with Dr Thani, Dr Sri n Dr suseela.....

so after collecting more knowledge b4 the big mission...we had to complete one more task....we had to deal with the angry citizens....hahahahaha it was Behavioural Science Class...n we got to learn how to deal with angry patients.....it was scary at 1st...but i think i did ok..my angry patient endded up laughing wit me....( so dunno if its good or bad)

n then came the big mission....we had to go to d enchanted mystical place were 2 rivers meet called New Fortress.....( KUALA KUBU BARU).....hahahaha actually tis was the activity i was waiting for...hospital posting at KKB hospital...n it was for 3days so we had to stay there. all groups that had gone there were fighting for the title of the dmost happening group....but i m proud 2announce we won....all i have to say is its a nice try Group A, B, C, D, E, G, mayb next time...

on sunday once we reached there, we had no time to waste as we wanted to explore the place so put our bags n wen to the town ( which is described as much smaller than 1 utama)...we ate restoran 98...that night we played loads of games...n many people had to punishments...tell me guys wen was the last time u felt so tensioned wen playing OLD Maid....hahahaha we did n it was so tension n suspence filled game...coz the punishments were really cruel...

next day in hopsital we met dr lim n sister rita ( janes best friend) ..clerking patients were fun....

we kept goin to maternity n forensic ward to check for deliveried or post mortem...but no luck..

that evening we had planned to go waterfall but not enuff cars so spent time in the house preparing for tomoros bbq .....n at bout 630 we decided to walk to town...n wat was d occasion u ask....well it was PASAr Malam...yes we were so lucky..coz ds night market in kkb is twice month...n our group got it...n the pasar malam was grand...so big....practicaly the whole town people were there...that night we played til late night...we even played kite coz it was super windy thruout d 3 days...

the next day. after classes finished we rushed back to our house n packed n got ready for our trip to the waterfalls...n it was so worth it..we really enjoyed..we even went to eat waffles

that night we had our BBQ party...n it was awesome...so much food ...everyone reli had fun...however there were sum funny glithes....at 1stly noris brought his electric bbq grill...so no way of doin it outside...so wen we plugged in the switch in living room..after 5min..we had a blackout....so we panicked...quickly tried to check the swtchbox..n later decided to call noris to try to buy a smaller pit...luckyily he managed to get one...at the mean time.we played around with the switch n after three blackouts we used the next house switch...but still had to do it inside...but then we were lucky coz our neighbout one indian guy lent us his extension cord...n finally the BBQ party...modern n conventional methos was help outside...hooray..

the next day we took lots pics at clinic...n wen we got back, we packed n left to kl....it was a reli fun experience...

the last task the team had to do was to get to know the people of the country then inform the kingdom on their findings....yes its community medicine week...we got to go to klinik kesihatan petaling bahagia....reli din know that place existed.. but my group did on thew programs...n we got lots of info...n much more leaflets n brochures...bout the klinik....so our presentation wasn't that bad....

so thats basically the story of the happening people....n all their adventures.....now enjoy the pics

E cube - Reflection Part 3
to end it wit a big bang....

yup after goin to sleep like at 430 ....we were super tired wen kenneth played the siren at 7 in the morning....but i woke early tho...hjeheehe. i packed everythin n got ready early...as i had to go down to d pool n try to get the float i used for treausre hunt yesterday....its not mine also its dejuns...n it was like in the middle of the pool....i had no choice but toi get wet....however luckily got on ranger uncle...who helped me take it....

at bout 8 we had breakfast.....n during that we announced the team placing...at the end of all activity.....n the winner were non other than d benign bananas...2nd was cystic choc....3rd was rendang...4th naan n 5th icecream....
besides that we had 2 specil awards...for best male camper n best female camper....best male was teck jian from choc.....n female was adeline from naan.....there were like the most semnagated people in the camp...
once all the prize giving ceremony was over, it was time to say our goodbyes to dusun eco...as our next stop was kuala gandah....
this time we did not take d chance n walk down hill...so we waited for the van to take us down...at bout 930 we boarded the bus n left dusun eco...now headed up north approx 1 hour drive to kuala gandah elephant sanctuary....tot ell u the truth we never heard of this place at al...it was kenneth who found out bout the place....n wen we arrived there we were shcoked to c that it was a very wel kept place...very posh ..n lots lots lots of tourist....
we arrived early so as kenneth was at the couinter..we walked thru liek a small musuem bout elepahnts....n waited coz the video show was at 1230...n we had like an hour plus,,, we felt a bit ackward for invadinbg the registration plce...coz lots of people were walking thru n we were like sitting on the floor playing saliva games.....so the people there suggested that we wait near the pondoks outside...so we went n as the games master i created sum games...we used the balls n played juggling....
later on..it was time for the elephant show....1st they brought out all the elephant for a bath where all the rangers sprayed water n cleaned them up....we all jus stood they n looked...scared that they mite attack suddenly...there was also a tv crew there shooting...it was a japanese crew...with two hot presenters.... we kept posing near the cameras.....dun b shcoked we mite b very famous now in japan....ohayo!!!!!! ( aditya may b no la...coz he looks like terrorist...hehe kiddn bro) then we got to feed d elephant either feed straight to mouth or to trunk...i fed a watermellon piece to the mouth....so chun u know...n then we pose pose....

later was the elephant ride...n it was superbly awesome....my self n christene went for the single person ride(of course got ranger guy la)....the others went doubles....our elephant was like high or sumthni kept overtaking the other one...so funny n cool....
we didnt stay on for the bathing in river session...coz non of us wanted to get wet...but lots lots of tourist were there taking part in all activity.....
before we left aaron n myself ke po chi...go c the guest book....we saw n read th remarks made by sum tourist from all over world...n we also saw that the collins family came twice....heheehehe

we also wrote in the book...as tho liek sum tourist only....

then now it was time for us to board bus again n this time it was to the pit stop....IMU BUKIT JALIL......of course the story doesnt end there....we had loads of fun in the bus....playin cards...chatting watching movie... n we were so hungry so jane made the bus guy stop at the rest area...n so hapen there was a mc donalds there....n we all got down n ran to it like we never seen food for 5 weeks....mcdonalds really a happy place....( sing along) pa bab bab pap pap pa... i'm lovin it....

at bout 5 we reached n took a fianl pic...before we end the chapter for this wonderful n excting time we had at ECUBe....it was really fun organising it..n we hope the participants had great time during the camp...if u ask me do it again...i will say..bring it on ( as long as it not near exams)

E CUBe - Reflection Part 2

tis is gonna b along day!!!!

ok its day 2..n firstly i got up earlier than others mayb because i could hear a group of red crescent memebers marching at the basket ball court neer our dorm....or mayb becaouse i m used to walking up early...hehehehe..i took my shower...cold shower n then later went for a morning walk around the camp site....manage to c a lot...n theres lots of difference in the place since d last time i beeen there...once i finshed my walk everyone was already ready for breakfast at canteen...everyone llooked a bit more refreshed after sum rest...i guess...
after breakfast...we had to get prepared for the 1st activity..d obstacle course...
it was kinda challenging...every group a chance to do each physical obstacle n we timed them to c who were the best...there were bout 11 obstacles...once all 5 times finished 1 obstacle they moved on..n the committee tried to conquer the obstacle too...we triumphed...hehehehe almost...
they had loads of fum dopin the ropes, jumps, crawls, maze n so on..
latrer on we split the group to 2 for the next 2 activites as we were runnig late..1 group did flying fox....n 1 moe did rock climbing n later they switched.... james, ching mei , christene n i did rock climbing 1st n then flying fox as we had to rush n prepare for treasure hunt which was rite after lunch.... rock climbing was way cooler n harder than i expected...mus take training from thazin la.....but not bad mui how, keeping, yau n aaron choy...manage to complete the whole thing....kudos guys. flying fox wasnt that scary for me...it was ok but fiona was screaming n shouting n she did not wan to go until the ranger guy had to walk with her till the edge of cliff...so funny we shuld hav recorded..kenneth was crazy enuff to carry his backpack n hailer n playin gthe siren while goin on the flying fox...
after that we met up for lunch at canteen n we ate like gluttens...mayb i did la...the plan was that everyone meet up at dean talapia in an hours time for treasure hunt...but suddenly it started raining n so the activity was postponed a bit...but that didnt stop me..i really wanted to have the d treasure hunt.
b4 we strated d hunt...or wat i called it was Dusun hunt...there ws a short briefing where i told them wats in store 4 them...its actually like a race where every team will a follow a different route..which has 8 stations.. in each station there will b an activity for them to complete to collect the next clue which is placed in a clue box near d station...they're only given 10minutes in each station...(sum of the activites where like captain ball, sum pysical activiyites n mental activities....all designed by d commitee)..the clue is a color coded card which has a riddle n only once they solve it...they will know wheres d next station...n besides that there were blue ribbons placed along the whole dusun hunt routes...where each ribbons adds up to their total...at the last station, all teams will meet n 1 member from the group is asked to dive into the pool to collect d final clue...which is a puzzle piece...( the dusun hunt logo) n d team whgich completes it 1st wins...cool heh??? but it took lot of planning.....luckily they all enjoyed it.. btw benign bananas won,
after that was tea time....n while they were having their tea....james,christene n me were preparing for the next activity the water game... the game goes sumthni like this...there is approx 100 over balls in the water...50 bigballs 50 pingpong balls n few coins...each team is suppose to send 1gal n 1guy into the water n each of them have to collect any of the items. once they collectd an item each they have to come out n the next representative has to go in.....while they're in water they will have to pass the splashes n waves created by sum of us committee stationed in the water....n oh ya another thing...all item in water are labelled with the team alphabet...so they can only collect their teams one....heheheeh sounds intersting rite...it was ..n it was chaos i tell u...everyone busy running swimming...n it was raining also...they all did not mind getting wet n they wanted to paly still....n it was fun.....the game lasted bout 15 minutes...n then we brought every1 out n we tallied the score they were so tired d....THEn..i announced to them that " guys .....thats not the end of the game....thats jus part 1....n for part 2....you guys will have to eat bananas n bread...the amount you eat is determined by the amount of items collected...the more you have collectd the lesser you eat..." n they were shcoked..i tell you i should have recorded their faces...it was fun..muahahahaha evil laugh...luckily they all ate wateva required within the time limit....n benign banana won agian coz victor manage to find the only 10sen coin in the water so heir team manage to minus 5 items from the amount the were suppose to eat....so cool leh!!!!....finally that was the end....they all went back to dorms, took shower n got sum rest before dinner.....

later once we had dinner....we played sum games like d saliva game, cup game, mafia game...until bout 930....yau n hanying were incharge...while d other committee members were preparing for the final activity of the day d murder game....yes somone got murdered n i put the 5 teams in charge as investigators to find out wat happen that nite..
sorry but i cant disclose much inforamtion bout the murder game coz its a big secret.,..hehehehee will spoil fun ....after all d groups presented their case...we choose the winner...which were cystic choc n necrotic naan...
it was already pass 12...n kenneth explained tomolos plan..we needed to get up n pack by 830... so he suggested we get sum sleeep.....but some of us were too excited too sleep....
so we stayed in d hall n played sum games....it was so fun coz we kept eliminating ppl each round...n those who lost had to continue until we found the one final guy n 1 gal....this was sum spontaneous game la...hehehehe i went to bed at 430...sum went to bed at 530... i was so exhausted but it was worth staying awake...

E cube - reflection part 1

What a day for a camp.......

hello guys finally i got the pics so its time to blog bout ecube.....hmm wats ecube .....its EXTREME ECO EXPEDITION......prudly brought to you by Campus friends club.....

ok...it all started wen we finished our cvs exams n after hearing the ffedback session...we rushed down to board the bus.....all the participants were there expecpt for the sem 2 s...sum were goin to their frens place to get their luggage, sum went to change their attire.....sum jus started to pack( ahem ahem aditya)...n sum ppl jus boarded the bus with thir formal attire n waited for the others..hmmmm i wonder who was that .....

it took us bout nearly 2 hours to reach there...Dusun eco..n once we reached we dumped our luggages to yau's car coz we neeed to walk up a very very steep hil to the camp site.....these ppl did not beleive me wen i said steep...until they saw for themselves....( coz i been there bout 3 times d).. once we reached up the camp ste kenneth ( camp commander) n muslef went to office to settle the accomodation while the rest were busy posing for pics...later on we went to our room n settled down...(had to collect bedsheets n pillow cases b4 that)...

we had dinner at the canteen....n food was not bad.....then later we had the 1st activity....which was night walk... every1 except kenneth, james, li yan, ziyun n myself went for it....they were brought into the jungle equipped only with a torchlite..by a ranger. while they were gone i was busy planning n preparing for tomolos activity..1st i needed to look for location for my treasure hunt n murder game stations 2ndly i needed to write all the clues... so luckyly the 5 of us manage to finish preparing everything by the time the rest came back....

wen everyone was back we met up at dewan talapia....where we had the ice breakers....

basically the participants were divided to 5 groups....benign banana, necrotic naan, infarcted ice cream, rheumatic rendang n cystic chocolate....( pls don mind the names ..the committee jus got a bit crazy ...hehehehee) every group had around 7ppl....comprising of sem1, sem2 n nursing students....it was cool to c everyone mixing together.....after the introduced themselves...kenneth introduced the committee to them....13 of us...( 12 sem 2 n kenneth sem 4)

by the time we finished all that it was already past midinte...n we had a long day ahead..so sm went to sleep while sum of us stayed to play sum games....most of them were so tired after a long day we had.....but have look at the pics tho...

NEW YEAR has jus begun for me......

ironic but true.....i feel new year has just begun...n last year ended with lots of drama......
we spent the whole of cristmas hols n even the new year day studying for exams.....
and when we got back to uni on the 3rd after hols...we had 2 important lectures ..n i was informed that results for summative assessmnt 2 which we sat like 4 weeks ago..wil b out on friday....after we finish sitting for cvs exam....ish i tell you this ppl think of all the way they can torture us. la....that last few days i was mugging hard...eventho i was studying thruout hols...felt like i forgot everything d....besides that i was also in the midst of preparation for the E CUBE camp....(i was in committee as well the peson incharge with games along with christene n ziyun)...and we were suppose to leave for dusun eco( the place for ecube camp) 530 on 5th..which is rite after cvs exam n after collecting sum2 results...so so so weird feeling...
N wen the day came...we were all kinda ready for the paper...but my horror...the paper wasnt that easy n it was tough...veryone felt that way...but imu students very d smart one...so i better speak for myself only....i felt it was tough la....( dun wanna elaborate)
and then after that went to collect results..for sum2.,..n i was happy thati did beter than wat i had expected.....
rite bout 530 we had to get ready to leave imu for the camp....it was a bitter sweet feeling at that time....but i tried to forget bout cvs n really wanted to enjoy the camp...coz i really wanted all the games i planned to go smooth....

n thats bout it for now....i shall continue this post wen i get the camp pics from mui how.
( i guess now u know y i mentioned that new year has jus begun for me)...

Santa's lil helpers....

hmmm....it started out as a boring wednesday..as usual my schedule says its time to study....as exams are on 5th of jan..( i m sure all sem2 are busy mugging their books)....but i remembered that i had to renew a book i borrowed from library....n i forgot to mention that we were on 1 week holidays....so i had to go to uni jus to renew the book....luckily dejun decided to follow me....so at bout 11 i reached, renewed the book...n then din know where to go..so decided to kacau james t his place....i fell bad for him as he did not go back to miri 4 xmas...n was alone in his place. coz david n ren were back home....so we go kacau him..n to our surprise the hse was super messy....( sorry david n ren i had to do my job as the cleanliness inspector...which i always do when i enter their place...heheehehe)...we had no place to study....n james was busy cleaning his room as well....so santa's lil helpers decided to sprinkle sum magic powder to help james out....n here the outcome...

Unexpected surprise.....

it was a typical saturday night....i was channel surfing as usual n started watching the highlites of Doha Asian games...when my cousin sis Nita called me n suddenly ask me...kajen, wanna go watch GIFA ?.....i was like huh, u mean now? like now?...to those who dunno wats Gifa..its Global indian Film Awards....which for the 1st time wa sheld in kl.....this is the same event where last friday there was a football match between bollywood stars n malaysian celebrities...which sum of my batchmates decided to skip lecture n go watch....i have seen the posters of the show so many times but had no intention to go watch....but now i decided to go....

actually my cousin bro Sri was suppose to go 4 d show with 5 friends...but unfortunately ( may b fortunately) 2 freinds cudnt turn up so he tried calling me n my cousin sis...n since i was free i agreed...so wwe quickly rushed to stadium putra...there was a massive crowd of ppl waiting outside for the arrival of sum stars....but we decided to go in 1st....the seats were gud as well quite close to stage...the show was suppose to start at 9pm..but with d delay of guest arrival it only started bout 10...... i can still remember bout 930...there was sudden screaming n wailing near the entrance as hritik n his family walked in....then later john abraham n bipasha....i guess the other stars were already there.....too bad aishwarya din come but never mind la...i enjoyed the show still....everything only ended bout nearly 3am....it was not only awards presentation but many performances from the bollywood stars as well..they even had mawi to sing as the malaysian performance...( i dunno y !!!!) ....the royal family was also there...the funny part was the mc who cant speak malay..had to acknowledge the king n queens presence so she went sumthni like this " yaang de per suan bey sar raja ......." so funny i tell you...besides the datin seri rosmah was there as she was the patron of gifa n her sppech was quite long 7 pages to b exact ( heeh i counted)...n when shah rukh gave his speech...he said " i also want to thank rosmah..for becoming the patron..." he jus kept mentioning rosmah as tho she was like his childhood friend....hehehee so funny.....at the end hritk n bipasha won best actors... here sum pics...dun mind the unclearness..hehehe

DHOOM 2

thats the promo video.....the movie is awesome....really gud i tell u.....on saturday, i went ot watch it at klcc....with james, aaron, ching mei, n fiona.....christene was suppose to join but unfortunately she cudnt......so picture this....an indian guy watchin a hindi movie with 4 chinese frens.....muhahaahahaha so funny... i told them at the start of the movie...that if u guys don understand...don ask me coz i wud not understand too...so all read subtitle k.....i mainly wen for the movie coz of my dearest bloved aishwarya rai acting....i knew wud not feel comfy wearing the super exposing clothes in the movie coz she so used to waering saree in the movies.....but she looked good anyways......now let me tell you...event tho...4 of them, james ching mei, fion n ren...was traumatized by the 3 hour long movie, cannot go toilet break in btwn goz very exciting, 6 song sequences with dance n sum unrealistic fight scenes....they said to me that they really enjoyed it.....then loved the songs n dances too( most of the songs in english)...no kidding k..

so i wud advice all those bollywood movie lovers out there to not miss this movie...its super chun..

NAKSHATRA 2006

yup that was this year theme for IMU Diwali nite 2006. Last year the theme was AGNI which means fire. so during this years committee meeting, i sugested the THeme nakshatra which means stars in sankrit...n the all loved it. /my batch got reall involved like crazy....rite from the president of diwali nite- kiren, vice pres- arthi, treasurer - jeya....i did the program books, lisa did sponsors, danny, diana, meg, n jeya were our choreographers, rupert on stage crew, kishen n bheena on deco, so many more.....every batch got to do at least 1 performance....so our batch got one slot in betwwen the drama...we did a medley song comprising 3 tamil n 3 hindi songs. so practically all the indians n a few sporting non indians also danced...besides that we got also involved in many more....the nite was quite a big thing...the hall was so packed...until people had to sit on fllor lean on walls .....my parents, grandma n lil cousin sis also came.....n best part is so many of our batch mates came to support us....so nice k...

first d light dance, the speeches, classical dance, instrumental fusion, the modern medley n kampung dance, dhnadiya, fashion show, sri lankan dance, modern hindi dance, singing, moder tamil dance, n bhangra......i took part in moder medley, sri lankan dance( 1st time dancing sri lankan) n also sung....heheheheheeh
